  • St Peter's Cathedral 27 King William Road North Adelaide, SA, 5006 Australia (map)

Bask in the ethereal glow of the iconic St Peter’s Cathedral. Enter a world of breathtaking beauty and inspiration with music that celebrates our shared humanity and the vibrancy of our world.

Has any musical view of the afterlife been more gentle and serene than Fauré’s? Choir and soloists join the ASO for the rich, meditative sounds of his Requiem. Hear the tender soaring soprano melody before the finale of sublime choir organ and strings, woven together in music of stratospheric glory. Bach’s concerto, with its joyous finale and slow music of a dark, burnished beauty, will follow a haunting, mystical new work by the ASO’s newly appointed Emerging Composer in Association, Jakub Jankowski.

This event is sold out. The ASO are doing another of these concerts on Oct 26.
